Living in “transition” is frustrating, demeaning, and disorienting… having no idea of where you will sleep, what food you will eat, or what the next day holds for you. There are multiple roots to homelessness; unemployment, the stigma of being an ex-offender, physical / mental health issues, displacement following military service, and more. GOPI’s goal is to make transition a productive and positive experience for those in need by helping with direct services, sharing resources, structured planning, in a concerned and supportive environment.
